Our concert orchestra consists of 9th graders and some 10th graders who do not pass the qualifications for admittance into the symphony orchestra. The orchestra is a class that meets one hour a day, and is conducted by Joseph Keeney. They play four times a year, at the fall and holiday concerts, again at Statewide Contest, and then at the end of the year at Festival Strings. They have won many prestigious awards, and taken home many top ratings for Statewide Contest! The orchestra has been in existence since 1995.
