This part of the site is for the beat-boxers of the group. If you are a beat-boxer out there in the rap game, then you could get summoned at liturally any time to drop one of your madd beats. You have an absolutely essential roll to the freestylers flow. Here are some different types of sounds you can make to keep the beat catchy and entertaining:
- The first type of snare is a "puhff" sound, this is mostly a more hip-hop sounding snare
- The second type of snare commonly known uses a "cuhh" sound, this is mostly a more alternative sound but is still well used in hip-hop beats if used correctly
- The third most commonly used noise is the high-hat. This sound is a "ttsss" noise. You can also let it ride by holding it and following it up with shorter ones. The high-hat noise
is a great filler
- The last most common noise is the bass. The bass sound is absolutely essential and is used best to start out the beat. The bass can either be a "buh" or a "puh" sound
- Some more not so common beat-boxing techniques can also be used over time. Ex. the crab-scratch- it is done by putting your hand to your mouth and breathing in between your two fingers and saying "tooka tooka". This will get you the sound of a record player being scratch (note: takes alot of practice to get perfectly)
- Beat-boxing can be done either using your hand or not using your hand, it is purely up to you.
